15 Oct 2022 – LEKAS Highway Night Race
Hi friends, so over the weekend, I was in KL, Malaysia, taking part in Malaysia’s No. 1 Highway Night Ride. It was kind of a race but it was one of those mass races; total of 5000 over participants within different categories. I was really satisfied to come in #11 in the Women’s Open category (120km); totally not expecting it, I grew up non-athletic so….

Here’s a reel rundown of my 3D2N in KL, Malaysia.
Just thought I’ll share some useful information on this race. Before I went, I was searching the internet for its elevation because (I noob) it’ll help me plan my ride better; when to fuel up, when to take it easy, when to power up etc. But I couldn’t find any info of the 120km ride. So here it is, as best as I could..
Ok, most of us are not natural climbers. That’s my main worry really.. Here’s the elevation chart from my Strava in case anyone’s thinking of doing it next year.

Not sure if they will alter the route in the coming years but if you’re reading this, this is the 2022 120km race route.

There you have it, the stuff that I wanted to know before the ride. Is there anything else you would like to know before the next LEKAS Highway ride? Leave a comment below and I’ll try to answer it!
