Last weekend, PP flew to Norway and played a gig at the Haldengalla 2014.
It was a formal concert where Marius received a cultural award for the great job he’s done in the field of music! It’s nice that his town recognizes his efforts as a growing musician. I guess that’s a perk living in a town with not-as-many people (as Singapore).
Borrowed the vibraphone from the Orchestra that rehearses at the venue (Thon Hotel) which did not have resonators to it. Didn’t have as much support/thickness in the mid range as a result. But overall it sounded alright as I could hear myself when I play thru the monitors.
HighFields has also increased rehearsal frequency due to the recording in May @ “The Well House”.
