Bigger Band (still undecided)

So during the 2nd rehearsal, I set up a bunch of percussion instrument namely:
Vibraphone
Windchimes
Cowbell
Trap table (shaker, tambourine, claves)
Triangle
Conga
Bongos

I also looked at buying some more perc instruments after reh, felt a need to expand my collection.

Rickey arranged Paul McCartney’s ‘Live & Let Die’. For which I was given some timpani and xylophone parts but I did not own either instruments here.

In any case, I was given the bass score and had to improv/create/arrange my own parts for percussion in each piece.

I’ve also been working on some compositions for vibraphone/piano and string quartet, can’t wait to try them out with real instruments!
